WebDC - Integrated Seismological Data Portal

European Integrated Data Archives - EIDA

Within the EC infrastructur project NERIES, GFZ is coordinating the activity NA3 (European Integrated Data Archive - EIDA). Based on the WebDC experience, EIDA will be based on the ArcLink protocol. Beside the GFZ Seismological Archive, EIDA will provide unified access to the ORFEUS Data Center (ODC) and the data archives of the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) and Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP) and many national data centers through these. The resulting distributed archive, combining all major seismic waveform archives in Europe, will be operated under ORFEUS umbrella.
