(GEOFOrschungsNetz, Geo Research Network) of
Geoforschungszentrum Potsdam.
to design
tools for a
distributed seismological waveform archive structure in
Germany and Europe,
to implement this structure in cooperation
with all interested institutions and
to provide user access trough an Internet data portal to this
structure.
In its first stage, a joint project with SZGRF (Seismologisches
Zentralobservatorium, Seismological Central Observatory) is
supported by the Deutsche
Forschungsgemeinschaft
(DFG, German Science Foundation), GeoForschungsZentrum
Potsdam (GFZ, Geo Research Center)
and Bundesanstalt
für Geowissenschaften (BGR, Federal Institute for Geosciences
and Natural Resources). Scope is the provision of a German Integrated Data Archive (GIDA).
